a great wedding indeed

I went to a wedding this weekend.. daughter of a cousin... outdoors.. the colors were brown, green and orange.. earth .. happiness colors.. the bride wore white of course but something was different..
maybe it was the lack of religious reference... or the vows that talked more about the circle that envelopes ... maybe it was the woman who officiated.. maybe it was her dress or the fact she was neither reverend nor justice..
understanding seemed to spead across my thoughts .. little by little..but the wedding put a smile on my face when at the end of the "blessing" as everyone unaware was saying "amen".. I heard the soft... "Blessed Be"
Another pagan cousin and I wanted to laugh... but didn't.. maybe a small giggle and we poked each other in the ribs to stop.. don't be noticeable.. Her father would have put a stop to the wedding had he known.. but he didn't catch on..
