tarkis's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- and she wished and morning came. as she awoke and pulled her arm back from over the pillows it had been resting on she was startled to see they were just pillows.. not the chest she had dreamed her arm laid across. and her head did not rest on his shoulder... her leg was not draped over his.. it was just a dream. She smiled, not really remembering the dream... just surprised to not find him there upon waking. but she wasn't sad... he had comforted her during the night of that she was sure.. if only in a dream that she does not remember. only the contentment of him being there, of feeling safe ... still only in her dreams. and then her mind awoke and said... NO... No... don't go to that place... I have it all figured out... not him... don't dream or think of him... the accountant would be a better match... but her heart and soul smiled... they were happy with her thoughts... with him... they know it is not about better matches... it is about her.... and him. and then the runes ... and the e-mail about a story from his area... and the co-incidences started. She pulled out a sweater from a shelf in her closet and a package fell on top of her.. some of his xmas presents. and she unwrapped one and looked at it and it made her smile... the same smile as when she bought it. She thought of him then and imagined his face as he was sleeping .. for sure not dreaming of her... but she kissed his forehead quietly so not to wake him. and she wished him love and happiness. 6:31 a.m. - 2003-02-03 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
