tarkis's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- how is it???? we only managed to put down the old lady. it was just too hard and too many tears. my son could not look at Trouble the calico and let her die.. he just couldn't and his friend, the one doing the actual shooting, didn't have it in him either. but we did make an observation: if the two boys who were doing this for all the right reasons... if the two of them who have no real regard for animals as an animal activist might... if they couldn't put down a sick cat.... how before all that is sacred did the nazi's kill so many in their prison camps.... what kind of person is it that can torture and maim and kill another.. not in a battle... or in anger... just as a day to day occurance... and how was it that so many allowed it to happen. and this isn't even about that war.... just about an occurance that happened. how is it that so many in one place were not ... are not bothered. and not just that time ... in any time in history... how is it that so many in any given place can accept ... even contribute to .... how is it????? 7:34 p.m. - 2006-08-06 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
