tarkis's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Choices and the night skies settled in, the changing of the air and sounds... it was the night of expectations. the night did not disappoint. down the hill and up thru the valley roared energy.. intent on finding more... intent on gaining strength. she waited in the shadows. always waiting... but now she knew what she waited for. she called them all to her... the ancients, the colors, her dreammates, the old man, Manny.... her crow... and even purple. she called softly.. not wanting to disturb the night time sounds... listening for the roar. the old man took her hand... she felt everyone's presence and smiled... she would need their energy. the old man whispered... are you ready? she held his hand tightly.... almost. reviewing it all... she sighed. will he be alright? it is his contract as you have yours. but what I do will impact what he will have to do. are you ready? it is your choice. and the great energy roared thru the valley scooping up any lingering energies.. tempting. Oh please dance.... she cried.. dance with me. and they did... the old man's arms keeping her safe as she danced calling out the colors.. the ancients... dancing the dance of laughter with Manny. only purple sat quietly back watching. as the dance slowed and the colors faded... still purple sat quietly watching. she approached slowly.... cautiously. you knew didn't you.. she asked. and purple surrounded her with love as she never understood before. it was your choice. and was it right? she wondered and before the thought could leave her mind and become words.. purple answered. it is always right..... for you. It is your choice. and slowly purple faded.... and the old man cradled her head. it has always been my choice she whispered... I know he said... smiling... I know.. they walked then and the ancients bid them pass... and she smiled.
